Our annual Community Day featuring volunteer organizations, touch a truck, and more!
Join us for our 3rd Annual Community Day event on Saturday July 15, 2023 from 12 noon to 3pm at Echo Lake Park!
Our Volunteer Fair will showcase local community organizations. Come out to learn who they are and what services they provide. Organizations will provide information to the public and public in turn can sign up to volunteer with them if they choose. These organizations depend on community involvement and volunteers like YOU!
The Touch a Truck will show off the biggest and coolest trucks and vehicles around! Fire Trucks from Marshalls Creek, Bushkill, and Shawnee Fire Companies, ambulance from Bushkill Emergency Corps, and a medivac helicopter from LVHN will drop in during the day. The township's road crew will show off their construction equipment, too. The kids can learn about these awesome vehicles and adults can sign up to volunteer with the emergency services.
